Take responsibility for the management and execution of effective company assurance activities associated to Ex equipment management within the work scope. Verify that all Company and Contractor personnel associated to Ex equipment management activities are competent as per the project Ex Competency Plan. Compile regular work scope competency evidence for inclusion into the overall project verification dossier. Verify that contractor personnel have completed any required training e.g. cable gland installation training, certified training for Installers, Inspector’s, Technician’s etc. Reinforce the requirement for all installation, inspection, and commissioning personnel to have access to the pre-requisite information required to carry out the task as per the Project Ex Initial Detailed Inspection. Continually liaise and support the Contractor(s) with all installation, inspection, commissioning, and preservation issues. Ensure that a sufficient level of planned surveillance activities is being performed for inspection activities associated to notification of inspection (NFI) requests issued by the contractor. Technically evaluate Change Notice Requests (CN’s) issued by the Contractor via the 3GI SC Certification Team. Review and endorse completed Ex equipment QVD’s.

- co-ordinate and monitor the quality related activities; - identify the non-conformances; - recommend corrective action; - verify implementation of corrective actions; - change the system to prevent non-conformances recurring; - oversee the daily QA/QC operation on the Quality aspect during fabrication; - ensure that the Project Inspection Test Plan and verification activities are carried out and documented in accordance with specific procedures underlined in the Contract Specification; - review Project QA/QC manpower strength periodically and make recommendation for recruitment when necessary; - liaise directly with COMPANY, the Third Party and Regulatory Bodies on Quality matters and monitors to ensures that all incoming and outgoing NCRs are fully addressed and closed out accordingly; - supervise and oversee the Project QC Inspectors; - agree an Audit Plan with COMPANY and undertake audits according to the Quality Management Plan; - ensure that the Material Procurement is done in accordance with the requirement of Company Specifications

Create and submit for approval quality procedures, Method statement and ITP in Compliance with clients specifications and national standards.
